My induction wasn't as bad as some I've heard of, but I've already told my doctor I'd like to avoid it at all costs because of how much worse it was than my first delivery. It took 14 hours, and I was shaking uncontrollably while I had what felt like transition pains for hours before I finally caved and had a spinal block. I progressed quickly after that, but had a reaction to the spinal and was vomiting and itching. Plus I ended up with an IV in each hand and could barely take care of my kiddo afterwards until those were taken out. Definitely not as extreme as some I've heard of, but I much preferred the back labor I had with my first, which was pretty awful itself
