If you're sick you shouldn't breastfeed as the baby could get sick from it. I was told that by several people. I thought it was complete bunk because if the risk came from my face being close to the baby's the heck else am I supposed to care for the baby when changing, bottle feeding, etc? I was happy to find information that says when a mother is sick her body is producing antibodies and that will show up in her milk. The baby will drink the milk and be better protected.

'Scuse the bad typing, please. 'Breast is Best' but not when browsing the internet!
