We got discharged from the hospital today, and I am so thankful to be home. I was really only half prepared to have a baby this week, and he ended up coming on Monday at just 39 weeks. So far I am feeling pretty good. It was a quick, natural childbirth so I had no tearing or stitches needed. I actually feel pretty normal. Henry is a tiny, sleepy little guy. I've been nursing him but sometimes he just sleeps longer stretches than I remember my girls doing. My only concerns so far are a tongue-tie and spitting up. My middle child had a tongue-tie, but Henry's seems a little worse. My nipples are pretty sore from it. I'll be asking for an ENT referral to get it clipped. Henry is also a spitter and gets choked on it quite a bit. I'm hoping he'll just be a happy spitter, but if it does turn into acid reflux I know I can deal with it.

This is Abri realizing that he is a real baby
