Slow Cooker Stew (from Taste of Home)

1 pounds beef stew meat
2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 can (14oz) beef broth
1 can (11.5 oz) V8 juice
2 celery ribs, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
3 bay leaves
1/2 t. thyme
1/2 t. chili powder
salt and pepper

Cook on low 7-8 hours. Add 1/2 c. frozen peas and 1/2 c. frozen corn. Cook on high for 30 minutes and serve!

(I always made a double batch of great!)
