I weaned my son in late July. He was 10 1/2 months. I don't get AF while I am BFing. It took forever, but in late August I could tell I was gearing up to ovuate (EWCM, cramping). Had a positive OPK on August 25th. I wasn't temping but in the past I usually ovulated 2 days after my positive. We did TTC as we were ready to start trying again b/c we have had major fertility issues in the past. I expected to get AF within 2 weeks....well, instead I got a BFP! We are excited, and my tests have been getting darker (I'm about 20DPO now and the test line is a lot darker than the contro line). But I'm still a little worried. It seems crazy to have conceived without having had a normal cycle, especially since it has taken us a minimum of 6 months to conceive in the past. How likely is it that this was a "healthy" egg? I'm just worried that things won't work out b/c this wasn't a
"normal" situation...
