i'm just learning more about nfp, but i'm not completely new to this... i tracked cm and cervix position in the past when ttc my son. and it worked very well and very quickly!

but now that i'm ttc #2, i have new questions. or maybe i'm just looking for clarification?'s some background:

ds is 9.5 months old. i am doing continued breast feeding-- he was ebf until around 5 months, then we intro'd some supplementary solids. he now eats lots of table food, but still pretty much nurses on demand, though his only extended sessions are 1st thing in the morning, lunch time, and bedtime. i've never pumped, he has never taken a bottle.

i've also had no ppaf. this is probably bc of bf'ing, but may also be due to the mini-pill, since it supposedly can prevent ppaf when combined with breast feeding, though it doesn't prevent o on its own (i'm not 100% sure i understand that, btw.) *i discontinued use of the mini-pill on oct 1.*

so, here's the situation:

on oct 28, i saw a huge change in cm. i wasn't really monitoring, but it was easy to spot, because i've had no noticeable cm since ds was born, and that day i had **loads** of watery cm. i thought i had gotten my period or something, since it was accompanied by cramps. but no af, just cm.

the next day, it went to ewcm, and switched over to creamy the day after that, and it's been that way since. ...and still abundant. we took this shift as a sign of my returning fertility, and bd'd as much as we could.

and here's the question:

am i right in this assumption? does it sound like i might have o'd? and if you were in my position, would you expect af or a positive hpt next week sometime?
