My son has Aspergers. Diagnosed with PPD-NOS at 22 months and then Aspergers at age 4. We did 30 hours of therapy (ABLES program) a week in addition to OT, PT and Speech. The had the therapists give us "homework" as 1 hour of OT a week does nothing. You need to do it at home. We worked with our TSS so we both followed the plan. It is hard - you do not have a "normal life." We are reaping the rewards now though. My advice, be consistent and work with your therapists. ASD is like the wach a mole. There are months you will think you have it beat and then it rears its ugly head in a really big way. Then the good months return.
