I have a question. My LO LOVES his solids he has tried almost every fruit and veggie that gerber has. I am currently feeding him 1 stage 1 fruit in the afternoon and a stage one veggie later around dinner time. Forumula for all other meals. Whats next. He's not sitting unsupported which is when gerber sugests moving to stage two foods. Should I be adding cereal to increase the thickness or should I increase the number of times a day I give him the solids.

I would try a fruit mixed with some cereal in the mornings, AFTER his first bottle of the day .

stage 2 foods are larger jars, many are still very runny just like stage 1 ! We did not stay on stage 1 for long at all.

try introducing a veggie for lunch, and maybe a fruit with cereal for dinner...if he is ready for 3 meals a day.

Ok maybe it is time to just move up then. We went to chilis and I forgot his formula (that is a very bad thing) I sent DH next door to grab some baby food and spoons cause I knew he was due for a feeding. Normaly little guy eats one container and some formula. Since there was no formula I oppend up the second container and he ate almost and I mean just shy of the 2 containers of the applesause. I might throw in a third feeding first since I have so much stage one left. LOL

He grabs at all my food now and wants to try everything. It's so neat to watch. I also resenty got a mesh feeder and put some banana in it.. He loved loved loved it.
