Boy or Girl?
How do you prefer it to be spelled?

MyGirlsJaiden&Everleigh November 19th, 2008 09:19 AM

I really dont like this name for either gender. The first time I personally ever heard this name was on dog, who was a mean a heck. lol So ever since then it totally ruined the name for me on a girl or boy.

But I guess Riley/Reilly boy and Rylee/Ryleigh girl.....idk??!??

I don't really like it as a girls name. It's one of the boys names that I think has been "taken over" by girls though. I prefer it spelled Riley for a boy.

MamaLynn November 19th, 2008 10:39 AM

honestly I don't care for it on either, but I guess I would see it more for a girl.

LadyGamer November 19th, 2008 11:14 AM

I'm not a fan of it on either.

I guess Rylee for a girl and Riley for a boy.

I like it as a girls name Rylee!

Boy, Riley, not a big fan.

Miracle November 19th, 2008 08:45 PM

I prefer it for a girl, just like I do most names that have become unisex. I like the Rylie spelling best.

ryannjakesmommy November 19th, 2008 09:01 PM

I used to really like it for a girl but after a girl I knew named her son that..(and he wasn't very cute) it ruined the name for me.

Merolia November 19th, 2008 09:33 PM

It's mostly a dog's name to me. I don't like the 'Rile' sound anyway.

I do see it as more masculine than feminine, and prefer it spelled Riley for either gender. Rylee just looks so childish.

ImagineOctober November 19th, 2008 10:17 PM

I'm sorta over Riley. I mean it's cute enough but it's not on any of my lists. I am not opposed to it being on either gender, however, I only like the Riley spelling!

MamaTo2Ls November 19th, 2008 10:22 PM

I like it for a boy, and spelled Riley.

HippieLove November 21st, 2008 12:24 AM

I like it for both but I prefer it fior a girl

MaryLovesChocolate November 21st, 2008 10:26 AM

I love Riley! Spelled just like that, and for male only.

I really like it for a boy but wouldn't use it because I don't want to use any unisex names

Danielle+5 November 21st, 2008 02:12 PM

Im not a fan at all on either gender no matter what the spelling.

GraceInTheCity November 21st, 2008 02:39 PM

I can't really imagine Riley on a little girl.

I like the name, it's my dog's name  so I wouldn't use it on a human. But, of course, I love it.

CameraLinds November 21st, 2008 03:26 PM

Either and spelt Riley

Elysia November 21st, 2008 04:19 PM

both Riley's I know are boys so I prefer it more for a boy and with that spelling

MamaKate November 22nd, 2008 03:30 PM

Love it!

I can only imagine it on a girl.

I prefer it spelled Riley.
