Syllable balancing
I am trying to find a good fn-mn-ln balance for our next child. Our last name is 2 syllables Let's pretend it's Preston.

So our chosen name for little boy #2 is Charles Theodore "Preston", but it feels like too much. WDYT? Charles Thomas "Preston" is another option. Or Theodore Charles "Preston" or Thomas Charles "Preston" Thoughts?

Actually, I like the cadence of Charles Theodore "Preston".

Re: Syllable balancing
I usually love Theodore, but I like Charles Theodore or Thomas Charles better as a sibling for Peter.

Re: Syllable balancing
I like Charles Theodore. It flows nice with a 2 syllable lastname. I think you just have to go with what sounds good not a specific rule.

Theodore Charles is my favorite but I love Peter and Charles as a sibset.
