breastmilk and nipples
While pumping on the left I noticed only milk comes out at the base of my nipple and nowhere else. What could be the reasoning for that?

Re: breastmilk and nipples
maybe you just are not responding as well to the pump, and maybe the horn is not the right size?

Re: breastmilk and nipples
Yes, it sounds like the flange size is too small or too big, or the suction of the pump is not quite where it should be.

Re: breastmilk and nipples
Im using the one that came with it...the 24mm. I tried the 27mm and I felt NO SUCTION at all even with my pump turned all the way.

Re: breastmilk and nipples
Medela has 5 different sizes. Even if you use a flange that is too big or too small, the suction should still be the same so that raises a red flag that the suction on the pump isn't working as it should.

Can your LC check it for you?

Re: breastmilk and nipples
That sorta happens with my left side, too :( I swear it's something to do with my nipple. My right side pumps fine. My left side is a pump disaster. It's like it just doesn't respond to the pump, but then, my daughter hasn't liked eating from that side either yet.
