One breast per feed or both?
Do you switch off breasts every feeding or does your baby want both?

Keelan has always only used one breast per feeding until he was about 18 months. Now he goes back and forth 3 or 4 times (more if I let him) during a feed. He says "other one, peas!"

I feel like we have always done both, but I can't remember.

First thing in the morning she switches back and forth.

We just started sometimes doing both, maybe once a day. Up until now it has always just been one side per feed and the next feed the other side

Just depends. ..I follow her cues. Mostly it's one side per feeding, but if she seems ti to want more, i'll offer the other.

Re: One breast per feed or both?
Sometimes just one and sometimes both. He's not really consistent at this point. Usually when he wants the second he doesn't drink for very long. So the next feed I'll offer the one we finished with the last time first. Was that confusing? Lol

Re: One breast per feed or both?
We typically do one per feeding and then I'll pump the other side. He has a definite preference.
