Hey Everyone! Just wondering what you're all going to be doing this long weekend coming up? Anything special? Anyone coming to visit? Are you all going to eat till you burst?
(BrandyBehr - You're coming here to Calgary for your brother's wedding, right?)

We haven't planned anything yet but our parents (both sets) live only 1 hour away so we'll likely be busy.... will let you know as I know! :D

And we will probably have to have a bocci ball tournament outside haha We always have to have some kind of tournament and I always end up sucking at it!

 No thanksgiving for us this year! Both my Mom and Sister's families are moving this week and I am due to have this baby. So no turkey :( No stuffing :( No pumpkin pie :( Thank goodness Christmas isn't far ;) We will be having a Swiss Chalet Thanksgiving as far as I know (I will take what I can get!) Too bad the festive special doesn't start until the end of the month....then again I have two boxes of stuffing here ;) :P

My mom, my sister and I are going to Toronto for a girls weekend. My mom always wanted to do this but we never had time. Now that my dad has passed away we thought it would be a good time to go.

I hope to be recovering from giving birth! I have had elevated blood pressure for a few days now, and my doc is watching me close. In fact, I spent 5 hours getting tests done yesterday to see if they were going to induce. My bp went down, so now the boys are cooking some more. I'm really hoping it's this week, as I got my hopes up that yesterday was going to be the day.

If we're home - it'll be KFC for us! I just don't have the energy to host or go anywhere. At best we might go to a buffet. Lazy, eh!

We always have supper to Mom's. I'm not sure if she is having it on Sunday or Monday.
Dh and I both start work next Mon. so I'm hoping for a Sunday supper.
We're cooking a turkey here tomorrow, for the fun of it I guess. Dh got it from his sister and I guess he can't wait..lol

Listening to you all chat about a Canadian Thanksgiving is making me sad as we now live here in the US and have to wait until Nov. for the festivities!! We will prob. still celebrate by going to a restaurant and ordering turkey dinner :) hehe hey no clean up or cooling is a good thing when you still have Morning/all day sickness :)

This is our first thanksgiving here in Kamloops...We are having a dinner SUnday here at our place....I am really excited...I have never hosted a thanksgiving party. My MIL, her hubby, my SIL, DH, DH's best friend and me...6 of us....which is plently. On Saturday, we are having a dinner at my FIL and his wife's family...their food SUCKS! Sorry, I'm not one of those people that likes apples and raisins in my stuffing--that's a sin (IMO)....Iwill also enjoy having my hubby home for an extra day with me!

It's my first anniversary on Sunday!!
We're going to have a family dinner and then go to the movies. We were going to go away and stay at a bed and breakfast, but we don't want to this close to the end of my pregnancy!!

We are going to my aunt's house as usual. My grandma will be there and then a bunch of family from my uncle's side will be there too. I can't wait, I LOVE big meals especially my grandma's stuffing! But this will be the first Thanksgiving (and Christmas for that matter) that I don't drink a couple bottles of wine with my aunt and her SIL so it will be different but just as much all the same. We usually play board games after. I'm super excited!

We usually go to my parents or to DH's parents. But this yr my parents are going to my brothers ( who lives in Maine), and Wes' mom is working this yr.
So it will just be the three of us here this yr.
