MIL is getting us a car seat for Parker for Christmas...I want to make sure I get the RIGHT one for us, but I have no idea where to start.

We want something that's somewhat easy to use, comfortable, and super safe. Something that isn't too harsh on the eyes wouldn't hurt either! ;) And....I might be a brat in saying this, but price doesn't really matter since it's coming from MIL, lol.

I would love everyone's suggestions!!!

i like the graco safe seats.. they have cute designs too..

my baby is due in april and my bf's mom is getting us a britax.. They are Really safe. the only complaints i eard abt them is that they are heavy and the infant seats make the baby sweat

well there are alot of great options out there!
Britax Marathon
Britax Decathlon
Britax Boulevard
Radian 65
if those are too pricey
Evenflo triumph advance

all the britax seats RF till 35lbs and forward face till 65
the radian 65 rf till 33lbs and ff til 65lbs
the radian 80 rf till 33lbs and ff till 80lbs
evenflo rf till 35lbs and ff till 50lbs

we use a britax boulevard for Cj i LOVE it he is still rearfacing! he weighed in at 26lbs today. And we use a britax regent for kyleigh i didnt list that one bc it is forward facing only and ur DD should RF till 35lbs, which for most is around 3 or 4 years old.

Marathon! We have 2 and love them. The top slots are taller on the Marathon than the Blvd, so that's why we chose it.

Good luck deciding!

Hey Sarah :D

I love our Evenflo Triumph DLX... the new model is the Evenflo Triumph Advance! So that is my suggestion :D

We JUST moved Brinlee out of it, and will be putting Isabel in it in the next couple of montths. Let me know if you have any questions about it, and I have tons of pics :D

The suggestions above are great too!!!

I have a Britax Decathlon and Diplomat. The Decathlon is basically the same seat as the Marathon, but with a few bonus features. This was the first seat that I bought. Later, DH and I purchased a second seat, which was the Diplomat. The Diplomat is a smaller version of the Boulevard (has the true side impact protection). We wanted a smaller car seat, and plan to use it as the primary seat when we have a second child. I am really pleased with both seats. My parents just purchased the Evenflo Triumph Advance. They ordered it on-line and when the opened it up, they realized it was way to big for my mom's compact car. It's a BIG seat. So, we ended up switching seats. My mom now has the Britax Diplomat in her car, and I have the Evenflo Triumph Advance in my car. I actually really like the Triumph. It comes with a cup holder (which you're only supposed to use in the FF position, but which I installed anyway). I think the Triumph is my favorite of the seats. I wish I had paid more attention to it before I spent all the $ on the Britax. Oh well, I love the Britax seats too. All the seats are comfy and safe. I don't think you can go too far wrong with any of the Britax seats or the Evenflo Triumph Advance.
