Loose Teeth!
Oh, the horror! The days I had dreaded have now arrived. Alice's first milk tooth is loose, and her first permanent is peeked out, lined up behind it like a freaking shark tooth.

It's loose enough to hurt when she tries to cut her food, and too stuck in there for me to be able to gently remove it. How long does this process take? Why isn't she being a normal child and tonguing the hell out of it so it can pop out quicker?

Oh, gosh, and I have to really take her to the dentist now. She's never gone. We are very good about cleaning her teeth, but weren't too concerned about her going since her big girl teeth weren't in yet. I just know they will have to knock this child out to do anything. I don't want my baby rendered unconscious. :(

Oh how dreadful! I have no advice as I haven't gotten there with my kiddos, but felt bad no one responded yet. Best wshes! It's been a few days since your post - so did it come out yet???

I have two year old twins and the thought of that freaks me out! Heeby Jeebies to imagine. I would be at the dentist begging them to do something so I didn't have to see/ deal with it. LOL. I'm sure my little guy (with potential dev issues) will be uncotrolable as well. Poor little guy has to get poked repeatedly for a drop of blood as they can never find his veins, even with the ultra light. Drives me to tears EVERY Time. Looks at me like "why are you doing this to me???" So hard, especially knowing they just don't understand.

Re: Loose Teeth!
LOL I sometimes comment for that reason. :D

No! It's still there and loose along with the one next to it now. Two loose teeth. =P It's taking forever. Since she's not messing with it to help it along, I think the process will take a month or more. Those suckers will have to be completely pushed out on their own.

Re: Loose Teeth!
Ryan never told me his teeth were loose. I just noticed one day that they were gone. Ryan has been going to the dentist for over a year now. He is 6y and 3m old.

Re: Loose Teeth!
Well, those two teeth are still hanging in there! They are getting very loose, but I still can't gently remove them. Or at least I couldn't last I tried a few days ago. I tried demonstrating how to tongue them. she just walked away.

Re: Loose Teeth!
My friend just had her son get a troth pulled by the dentist and used laughing gas he did great and didn't feel a thing. I know it can be scary but if it helps with the tooth I would do it for my son so I wasn't hanging there or causing problems.

Re: Loose Teeth!
First of them fell out. Where? No idea! She came home from school just missing one. Her teacher said she noticed it missing right after she got off the bus. So it was either on the bus or the night before in bed.
