how to help slow growing child
My daughter is growing slowly. And she seems to be tired a lot as well as have digestive issues. I suspect that these problems are causing her slow growth. I'm just interested in hearing from other moms who have similar experiences and maybe one of your experiences can shed light on our situation.

What are her allergies?

Dairy, nuts, soy, sesame seeds and possibly gluten. The dairy and nuts are the most obvious allergies. Why do you ask?

I just want to add that I'm extremely proud of my daughter and all her accomplishments. I think considering her slow physical growth and her constant fatigue that it is amazing she continues to learn new skills and make keen remarks, including following logic. She has a lot of skills and we are blessed to have her. I am simply concerned about her, that something is holding her back.

Re: how to help slow growing child
Jamie has a dairy allergy with other allergies we are working on. When we cut dairy from her diet she went from being in the 75%of height and weight down to 27% in weight. She does have some fatigue but our pedi said most of it is because we switched to Almond milk which has little fat and is mainly a source of calcium. He said as we figure out how to supplement a food group it will get easier and the fatigue will let up.
