3mth old having Surgery
Hi Moms.. My husband and I welcome twins in January. They are now 3 months old and we heard the devastating news last week that our son has a blockage in his brain preventing fluid to leave his brain, and he may have to have brain surgery. We are meeting w a Neurosurgeon this week. I am doing some research and believe this to be Hydrocephalus. Does anyone else have experience with this. Has your little one had to have surgery?

Re: 3mth old having Surgery
Welcome to JM!! I don't have any experience with this. The closest experience is my older son's adenoid removal when he was 2 years old. That was a quick, easy experience, though.

This forum is mostly informational. There aren't any regular members. Have you googled to find hydrocephalus-specific forums or yahoo groups, perhaps?

The best of luck to you, and congrats on your twins!

We have surgery experience but not brain--Iz had own heart surgery at 7 months old.

I hope all goes well for your son
