When I was 12 weeks, our tech told us that it was most likely a boy (yeah real early!!!), then at 16 weeks, they told us for sure it was a boy. We've had three ultrasounds since then, and Joshua is not shy! He loves to show his goodies to the camera.

It's usually done at 20 weeks. That's when they told me mine. They wouldn't or couldn't tell me at 18 weeks.

We found out at 18.

I believe the parts are developed as early as 13 but the earlier it is, the more likely it is that the tech can make a mistake, cuz it's just harder to tell.

Most docs don't like to tell you till you've hit at least 18.

We actually found out at 16 weeks exactly. They told me it was a girl but didn't give me 100%. We went back at 18 weeks and she said 250% a girl..... so if I was you, I would wait until 18 weeks because It just drove me crazy wondering what to tell people....

18-20 is the norm... I went into a ultrasound imaging specialist and at 17 weeks they gave me a *pretty sure* on a boy... They had me come back at 20 weeks, free of charge, and did the u/s over again and confirmed for me that I was having a boy. It only took a second, he willingly showed us the goods!
