Hey! I'm so excited that you get to have your baby shower!! I haven't bought a dang thing b/c I'm not far along enough. I'm waiting to see what all I get at the baby shower before I get too many things. My mom has already bought the baby a pair of little blue jeans and some co-gender onesies!

I know how you feel about the whole due date thing. Today I realized I am 30 weeks exactly... that means only 10 more weeks until my due date! I am so not ready if she comes early which I have this crazy feeling she will. Scary thing is, my "crazy" feelings have always been right. I have tons of stuff, my husband is in Iraq, so with the extra income I've been able to shop for her.

This is my list so far:
Crib/dresser/changing table set
Baby Swing
Crib mobile
Tons of clothes

I haven't had my baby shower yet, that's not until March 25th. I'm worried though because I'm living with my parents until my husband comes home because I'm high risk, but my husband has an issue with wanting to bring his baby to a home he provides. So now I've been house shopping and therefore don't have a nursery set up yet.

Things will fall into place. I think it's normal to freak out at some point and worry about being completely or somewhat ready for the baby.

I just got the crib the other day, and the bedding set. Other than that, we just have bottles, a few onesies, a bouncer, and a few blankets.

I have to wait till I have my baby showers till I can get anything else. I am freaking out because they aren't for another two/three weeks, and I'm due in seven. SO I'm hoping that Joshua won't get impatient, like the rest of the April babies seem to be!

Hey girl, I am right there with you!!!!! I just realized that I have about 15 wks to go (or is it 14...lol, need to look at my ticker)....lol, well, I'm in the double digits....lol.

We've gotten just about everything we need. I sure wish we hadn't spent all that money but DH is going crazy. I can't get him to stop spending money on the baby. We have enough clothes for tripletts! We still need simple things, like wipes, diaper rash cream, diapers, all that good stuff....and we need a changing table. My work wants to throw me a baby shower in May but I've already got everything covered (yay tax return!). Lol, now I don't know what to ask for.

Good luck in your pregnancy.

Stepahnie17 - what you are going through is normal. Just remember....hormones are raging through your body....and you are pretty far along. Post on your own topic...that way we can spend a little more time giving you a better answer. I'll be looking for your post.

Edit: LOL, I just looked at my ticker...I have 13 weeks. Where did the time go?????????

I love my 3 girls and little boy:

Mom to Jessica - 19 yrs old, Amber - 18 yrs old, Sebastian - 2 months
