OK so long story short, on 8/2 I had an 'encounter' with my ex, who is also a really good friend. I was set to start my period soon, within a week, so I was not too concerned when the condom broke. Here I sit, still waiting! I feel like poop. I took a test last week, way too early I know, and I think it was negative, but there was a dark blue spot at the top of the test window, I don't know what that was about. The two other tests in the pack had issues, the control lines didn't show. I am going for a blood test tomorrow, so maybe I'll find out. My son is 6 and we were both very sick when he was born. He was born at 31 weeks due to severe eclampsia, I had multiple seizures and was in the hospital for almost a month. So not only am I worried about how to tell 'Dad', but I am already a single Mom and I don't know if he will want anything to do with me or the baby if I am pregnant. I am also nervous about the whole 'getting sick' again... I know stress can cause my period to be late, but it usually doesn't make my boobs hurt, pee almost once an hour, and be so exhausted I could fall asleep typing this. I have no one I can talk to right now, so I just had to vent. Thanks if you made it this far...

If you DTD on the 2nd then I wouldn't think last week would have been too soon to test. Are you periods often irregular? If so, try not to worry too much (easier said than done, I know) . How long will it take for the blood test results to come back? Keep us posted!

I also think it would have shown up when you tested. I got my positive 12 days after the "incident". I wish you luck, let us know how it turns out!

My periods were like clockwork until June-ish... My doctor convinced me to get the Gardasil shot and ever since my periods have been a little wacky... She said it couldn't be from the shot but either way I refuse to get the rest of them! I got my blood drawn today so hopefully I will have results by this weekend! I am really hoping it is just my cycle being messed up and I am sure the stress hasn't helped, but the other things that have been weird showed up before I even thought I might be... I'll know for sure soon! Thank you all for your support!
