Okay, let me start out by saying that this has been one hell of a year.

Let me start at the beginning so you can sort of see what I've been going through.

Back in March my menstruation was from the 27th to April 1st.

On April 13th I spotted for 5 hours or less.

Then nothing.

I didn't start a normal cycle again until May 11th to May 17.

During that time of no period, I did got to my work wellness center and they did a urine and blood test, which both cam up negative, other than that they didn't have anything to say, blaming stress in my life. I call bollocks on that because I hadn't been stressed, nor had anything in my life changed.

My June cycle ran the 12th to 17th with full on unprotected sex with my husband, internal ejaculate the 24th. (Now, we use condoms every now and then, but for the most part its the pull out method, which hasn't failed us for the past 4 years of being together.)

For July my cycle was the 6th to 13th.

Then came August. I wasn't due for my period until the 10th, but it came one the 2nd. and lasted until the 7th. A week early.

Now, if my charts are correct, we had unprotected sex, with a small amount of internal ejaculate on the 16th, with fertile days the 18th to the 24th.

I took a pregnancy test on the 30th. It came out positive.

Now, I am only one day late, but I am concerned overall. I made and appoint with an actual ob-gyn, but unfortunately he had to cancel for deliveries and no one else was available.

Trying to make appointments anywhere else seems futile because they all seem booked for another 2 weeks.

I don't feel pregnant. I am showing no signs of it. I had breast tenderness for a week before my period was due, as well as my slight nausea and frequent urination. Now, nothing. The only thing I feel really now is my cervix is a little tender, much how it did back in May when I went to the doctors.

What are everybody's thoughts on this? That's all of the first part of the year for me. When I stopped at the appointment last week, 4 days before my missed period, she said that once a positive you're pregnant, but I know for a fact that this is not always the case.

I say that because my mom had false positives right before she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and 2 of my coworkers within the past 3 months have all had positives with no pregnancy but cysts.

My husband and I have already discussed what we plan to do if it turns out that I am, but without any help for another couple of weeks, I'm now stressing, which can cause a delay in period.

There could be alot of reasons for a missed period. Pregnancy, stress, Infection, But stress isn't going to give u a + and i never heard of a cyst giveing u a + either. That was always my biggest fear if i got a + it was cancer, cause that's what my mother had. I would make another appointment. Chance's are you are pregnant so don't stress over it, it's not good for baby.

Most doctors don't see you immediately for pregnancy, there's usually a 2-3 week wait unless you have a history of miscarriages. So that wait is perfectly normal. If nothing else you can go to your family practice doctor and ask him to do a blood draw to test for pregnancy while you wait for your appointment.

Good luck.
