I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced spotting in the early stages of pregnancy? I am 6 weeks pregnant and have been spotting very lightly a brownish type blood for the last week or so. Now, I spotted with my first pregnancy, but this time it seems to be constant. Every day I am spotting. It's not a lot, and it is dark brown, but it seems to be there every time I go to the bathroom. Has anyone else had this problem?

Well from what I have been told brown blood is old blood. So I wouldnt be too worried but I would call the Dr as soon as you can to just get checked out. Good luck

I had this problem early in my pregnancy, only I had red blood the first time, and then brown blood later. They also found out that I have a pool of blood where my placenta connects to the lining of my uterus (I think that's right?) Anyways, but I did go in as soon as I started spotting and the doc told me that although spotting in pregnancy is common, it's not NORMAL by any definition of the word. You should always call your doc and get checked out if need be. Better to be safe then sorry, right? Either way I wouldn't worry too much. I had spotting up through 8ish weeks and now I'm almost 27 weeks and supposedly I'm going to be having a perfectly healthy baby! I guess we will know 3 months from now, huh??

Anyways, good luck hun! But I would call the doc just to be 100% sure nothing is wrong!! Let us know how you make out!
