im 18 and im in a very happy relationship with my Boyfriend Dave.

I am very confused about alot of things tho, and feeling very low, but I am so happy to know in 9 months time i will be having a baby, because its what i want, but first off im confused about how many weeks i am my last period was on the 8th of december 06 can someone tell me how may weeks i am roughly.

i do have an appointment at the doctors tomorow you know the ones that comfirm your pregnant
I am just feeling very confused and low im scared somthing will go wrong i really dont wanna loose my baby
but im guessing alot of women out there worry about this too, i do everyday but i try to stay positive too

im very emotinal at the mo and feel soooooo tired, my breats hurt and im peeing often! and i notice alot of discharge, i cant wait to have my baby i really cant but i cant help but worry its doin my head in, its in my nature to be this way anyway but since finding out im carrying a baby somthing i have wanted for a while im more worried than usualbut i just need some reasurecne that other people go through this worrying too

as much as i have a loving family and wonderful boyfriend i still feel alone

hey! congratulations on your pregnancy. you're about 6 weeks pregnant as it goes from the date of your last period even tho you weren't pregnant for another two weeks or so. They do it this way because very few women know exactly when they ovulate so the due date is general. you'll be due around the end of august, start of september.

My name is robyn, i'm 20 and have been with my bf steve for 5 months. We're having our baby in July. It was very unplanned but we are so happy now.

Its normal to worry about the baby, its what mothers are programmed to do! I read in my DDC today that a womans last worry free day is the day before she finds out shes pregnant!
the ladies on these boards are so amazing, they are so supportive and friendly, i really hope you stay and get to know them.

I felt so alone till i told my family too, and honestly if it wasnt these boards i would have went mad with anxiety and worry.

congratulations again, and good luck with everything.

This doesnt have anything to do with the original post but I was just wondering how it works out to be 6 weeks? My last af was dec 9th and my calculations say I'm 5 weeks. Did I calculate wrong?

Congrats hunni! You sound like you know what you want. Believe me, I think every expectant mother goes through that worrying phase when first finding out about the pregnancy. I know that me and my boyfriend did, and I am now 31 weeks n 3 days pregnant! Just hang in there and everything will pull through!
