is childcare expensive in your area? will you be opting to be a stay at home mom? are the waiting lists long?

Where i am it costs in excess of 1000euro per child per month. so it really would not pay me to go to work. i'd be working for the childcare costs. I'm so lucky that i'll be able to be a SAHM and i think i may go to school at night. i dont want to be away from my baby for too long, but i;d like to get a qualification...

Just found out last night that my bf will be making enough money for me to stay home. That was very important to me because I really didn't want to put my baby in childcare. So I was very happy about that! Kind of makes me sad to see my college education go to waste though. =P

In my house I am the bread winner so being a SAHM isn't really an option. I don't think I could do it anyway because I love my job and I love working.

Depending on the cost of child care in our area (we are just started to look around) my BF might be a SAHD which he really wants anyway. He also would love to home school the baby when that time comes but we will see.

Right now i am a sham. DH makes enough to where I can do that. So right now i am going to school two day a week. Where i live they offer day care assistance. They will pay almost all or all of the cost.

I'm a student mommy, so Joshua is in daycare for most of the week, so I can go to school. We pay $184 a week.

How did you find a good daycare?

I have to look into this option. Both my fiancee and I will be heading back to work.

I'm a proud father to a bouncing baby boy!
