I just found out I'm pregnant on Monday (3-12). My boyfriend and I live somewhat far apart and usually spend the weekends at the very least together and talk on the phone the rest of the time.

I last saw him Tuesday but didn't want to say anything until I get my blood test confirmation which will be tomorrow. I also want to tell him in person, not over the phone.

He's been away this weekend which was planned and I'm ok with. It was the first time and to be honest I needed some time for myself and for me and my daughter (she's 11).

Well even though I was shocked at being pregnant I'm actually excited about it; I just couldn't not tell anyone. My daughter asked if I was so I told her, told my sister (her husband told me parents), and a couple of friends.

I feel kinda bad that all these people know before him. So anyway depending what time he gets home tonight we'll either get together tonight or tomorrow. I plan on telling him then.

Neither one of us was trying or wanting another kid (especially me) and I'm surprised that I am so excited. I think the reason is because my circumstances are so completely different from when I was pregnant with my daughter over 12 years ago. I did not enjoy being pregnant with her as I should have for a variety of reasons and have always regretted it. I am going to enjoy this pregnancy.

I'm not sure how I'm going to tell him or the best way. Any ideas anyone?

I think he'll be shocked but I believe he'll be accepting. Heck, we were just talking about marriage and him getting a vasectomy a week ago (he was shocked at that but agreed to it).

Thanks....

You sound like me. My husband and I married in September and he was getting a vs in February, but found out i was pregnant right before that. It was quite a shock, but he was accepting. I don't know your bf, but I'll bet things will work out and you will have a cute little baby I'm sure! Good luck!
