Did anyone have any issues/concernd from your doctors because of the tummy to tummy pregnancies?

When Scarlett was 5 months old I got pregnant and my doctor didn't say anything until I miscarried and he said that she would keep me busy. O proceeded to get pregnant two more time just to have early losses. He never said that they were too close together or the losses had anything to do with my not waiting long enough.

So my fourth pregnancy in a year and everything went great.

Any way I was told that even though I felt great that it takes a year for your body to return to normal. I am back to the weight i have been for the klast decade even though I'd like to lose some more. My blood pressure is till high even medicated, plus I am 37 so no birth contril pill for me. Even if wanted it.

How long did your doctors advise between pregnancies?

My doctor advised 6-12 months but said she personally would be comfortable with 9 months

I never asked.

I moved to a new state by the time my twins were 6 mths and to a new state again when Riley was 2 mths old. So I never had an OB to ask. Not sure I would have asked anyway, I kinda just do my own thing LOL!

My DR said 6 months is ideal, 18 months if I wanted a VBAC, but that she personally had hers less than 2 years apart, intentionally.

The infertility DR I saw said he didn't think my losses were related to closely spaced pregnancies btw, I did ask.

He said 6 months is ideal, but it was totally up to me.

No one ever advised me to wait. The only thing my OB told me after I had Rhett via emerg csec was that him and the next should be at least 15 months apart if I wanted to attempt a vbac (and they're 17 months and I had a successful vbac).

My OB suggested I wait a year. I did not bring it up or ask her, rather she asked me when I declined any kind of birth control at my 6 week post-partum appointment. I told her I didn't want to wait that long. She relented and said to at least wait 6 months, but that 1 year is what "they" recommend for the optimal circumstances. Well, tbh, we didn't wait AT ALL...but it did end up taking six months to get pregnant again because I breastfed for awhile and I think it took time for me to get back on track.

Just a few days before we conceived this one, I had my annual with her...and...she asked if I was still planning to have another baby right away. I said "Yep" and she was like "Well, just call me when it happens." haha.

My dr never told me anything...I didn't bring it up and neither did she. She did ask what birth control we were planning on using and I said condoms...which we never used between DS and DD. I got pregnant with DD when DS was 3 and 1/2 months.

Mine never said. The nurse asked me about birth control at my 6 week check up after my last DS was born and I told her I wasn't going to use it and would like to be pregnant with the next year (my first two were 15 months apart) and she just said well then no birth control is the best plan if you want another one that soon.

A few minutes later she was going through routine questions about how I was feeling etc and jokingly (not rudely at all she was very nice about it) said "I guess you must be feeling pretty good if you're planning to have another one in the next year" lol Overall I just get the "oh you must be really busy/have your hands full comments" from the doctors/staff at the ob office

My midwife said a year after I told her I didn't think I'd be going on any BC right away. I didn't ask and she didn't offer any specifics.
