my four are really independant, usually--I can be in the office and the four will play on the main floor, a few toy fights, but they'll be good for at least a half hour if not more, and they don't wreck things

Lucky mother to five!

I can't leave the room for 60 seconds without hearing the word "mommy" over and over and over again. I blame a lot of it on back when Nathan had 35 hours of therapy a week (we are down to about 20 now). All of those hours are very hands on. If the therapist sits down with Nte to do an activity then the girls want to participate also. I always feel bad because the therapists are only there for Nathan, I can't just go unload the dishwasher and expect the therapist to play with the girls too. Also it is so hard for the girls becuz they feel like Nathan is treated "special" all these therapists come in with new toys and games to "play" with Nate and the girls are 2nd fiddle. So I try my best to include them or have an alternative activity for them.

So at this point none of my kids can play well without an adult. It is so very frustrating. I feel like I have created a monster and no way to fix it. My house is a wreck and I have almost no down time.

They are all pretty good playing on thier own, they have thier moments where they wont let me go a foot away from them but thats usualy when they are tired or hungry...oh goodness if they are hungry they are under my feet constantly! haha but for the most part they are pretty good at keeping them selves busy if I need to get soemthing done

It depends on the day, sometimes they are fine and sometimes they both need full time attention all day.

A would rather me be around when she's playing. I figure it might be because she's the oldest so she was used to me being around more??

L is great playing alone or with A.

R is good for the most part but has been a clingy little thing since baby A was born.

Taylor prefers to have me around but is capable of playing alone. Rylie prefers to play alone most of the time

Is baby Aubrey Alana or Jacob Robert?!

Aiden (my oldest) want one of us with him all the time. He watches Mickey in the morning before daycare but he want us to sit with him. We can't. We have to get dressed. He does not want to play in his room alone. We have to sit there with him.

Preston so far has been ever independent. He is only 14 months but if all his needs are taken care of. He will play alone for a little bit.

Alyssa wants me nearby, but she doesn't need me right there all the time.

Rylan is very independent, he would rather play along or with Alyssa than with me.

Hi. I'm Heather and I'm popping in from the March 08 PR. My DD is very independent and can play by herself for a while. So far my DS is a little needy, but he is only 2 months old, so I guess it is to be expected.
Thank you *Kiliki* for the awesome siggie!
