Which family is more supportive of your decision to have CSSs?

Mine, barely though. The comments have gotten a lot more frequent recently

We had a 5.5 year gap between the first two children, nobody commented. A 14 month gap between the next two.. .do we get congratulations from ANYBODY? No. We get "don't you know how that happens?" and "don't you know what b/c pills are?" So I would say neither, lol. Family or non-family. All anybody has to offer is negative and snarky comments.

both sides are really supportive, but we're seen as some type of martyrs since some are from adoption---what if I really wanted five kids under five, would I be a martyr then?
Everyone is really excited for us for this next baby

Lucky mother to five!

Definitely his. We get no comments from anyone on his side. My side is another story.

They both are supportive now but in the beginning it was his family.

Is baby Aubrey Alana or Jacob Robert?!

Mine immediate family is more supportive. Several of my sisters were closely spaced and there are 7 of us all together. My step mom only had one kid and is pretty overwhelmed and not the most supportive but my dad is great about it (my mom died 10 years ago)

DH family is kind of mixed. His mom doesn't say much and is the type to keep her opinions to herself. She also had css and most of her comments are concerns about me getting enough rest etc. DH has one sibling who is supportive but the other 3 siblings think we are pretty crazy for wanting a large family and having css

I don't have any in-laws, since dh was orphaned as a child, but my family... They're an interesting bag. I think "horrified" might be an adequate description.

Fortunately, our church community is SO EXCITED and SO SUPPORTIVE!

Both supportive. It might be a different story if we decided to have a 3rd closely spaced but I'm not ready for that. I'm happy with the 2 boys. If we have a 3rd, it wouldn't be closely spaced.

His family could never say anything... LOL. My dh is the youngest of 10.

My mom had us three kids all close in age.

They're both supportive.

^^^Ditto! DH is the oldest of 11

I'm the middle of 5, all 2-3 years apart (except for the last 2 with 4 years in between), but that was only because that's all my dad wanted...Mom would have had more, and closer together.

So yeah, they're both supportive
