My name is Hayley and I am currently expecting #3 in May. My oldest will be 3 in Feb and our youngest turned 1 in October. I've been blessed to have had easy, easy pregnancies and deliveries but something has been on my mind lately. I am concerned about the strength of my uterus. Now I've never had any complications to suggest that it would be weakened, but this is my 3rd pregnancy in 3 years. I haven't brought up my concern with the midwife, nor has she brought up any concern with me. Did anyone have the same fear? My boys were big babies at 9.5lbs and 22 in and I've got a relatively tiny frame. I do have a gap in my abdomen, but again my midwife is aware and she's never made it seem like an issue in regards to the pregnancy.

Thanks for listening and TIA for you replies

Hi Hayley!
To be honest, it was never anything that concerned me, nor did my OB or GP voice it as a concern at all. I have 4 kids who are currently 4yrs10mos, 3yrs1mos, 19mos and 2.5mos. Though I'm tall (5'11") I'm fairly thin (while at my pre-preg weight, not now!) at 145lbs. All my pregnancies were easy with no major issues at all (minus the emerg csec with #3 that obviously wasn't in the plans), though I feel my body felt done by the time I had my 4th.
Good luck with your decision!

I wouldn't be too concerned my children are aged 3, 2 and 7 months, and everything was just fine, i would deff talk to someone though if you feel concerned, everyone is different and everyones bodies are different
