1. Are your high risk specialists in the same town as you, or are they farther away?

2. Do you have any pets?

1. I live in the suburbs of Baltimore, and my MFM practice is based at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore City, so it's just a 25 minutes drive. But they have a satellite office 10 minutes from my house where I go for basic office visits.

2. Yes! I have a pug named Daisy. She turns 8 tomorrow. Here she is snoozing after a visit from her high-energy cousin Louie (my sister's puggle):

Thank you Vicki for my awesome siggy!!

I don't see a Peri, just my regular OB and he is an hour away from me. There are docs closer but I am more comfortable with them.

We have 3 dogs. A German Shepherd named Cooper, a terrier mix named Buddy and a staffordshire terrier/english bulldog mix named Sake.

We also have 2 fish tanks and a snake.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my perfect siggy Follow us on Facebook

Oooh, I would love a snake, but my husband says that occasionally they get big and eat other family pets. He once had a snake and it got loose in the house never to be seen again, and he doesn't think they are very entertaining anyway.

Thank you Vicki for my awesome siggy!!

1. I have a home in Katy, Texas but just moved back near family while I have the baby. So I'm living in a suburb of Chicago called matteson, and I'm in a hospital in Chicago University of Illinois at Chicago.

2. Don't have any pets but a huge family which is great! I miss them being in the hospital but they have been great... and if no good news tomorrow they will have a hospital baby shower for me... I'm still hoping and praying for good news on my ultrasound tomorrow but we will see.

Rebbeca my cousin lives in Baltimore she's been trying to get me to come visit but this pregnancy has put me a little behind... She really likes it out there.

My docs are very close. Both my regular OB and my MFM doc are in the same hospital that I work at.

No pets here. Used to have a snake but he died a few yeas ago.

I only see a MFM, he's about an hour away but on top of coming very highly reccomended for a high risk pg he is one of the few Drs who still believe I am boss and he is only there to be a guide. So for me it's, have belly will travel!

I live in a zoo, 1 husband, 3 kids (14, 10, 9) and 2 dogs. A 1 year old boxer and a pound puppy, we have no idea how old he is. Here are a couple pictures of the dogs.

Mom to 3 (1998, 2000, and 2009), step-mom to 1 (1995), two four-legged babies who bark, wife and full time student.
My days are busy, my house is messy, and my heart is full!

I love it here in Baltimore. I've lived as far away as Israel and Spain, but Baltimore is my home. Bonus picture of Daisy when she is feeling more perky:

I'm not a big pet lover, but all these dogs are adorable! lol

EM... must be nice to have your docs where you work...

Im glad that they are keeping a close eye on me and Layla but I feel like we are just fine and would like to go home, trying to stay patient tomorrow is ultrasound to check fluid... So now, I'm trying to prepare myself for both case scenerio and to be happy as long as it hasnt gone down even if I may have to stay. a little anxious tonigh and slept the majority of day away...so I'll prolly be up all night, sister brought a book I jsut started so I'll probably be up all night reading lol...

All of my Dr's are 35 miles away, which isn't that bad. They are closer Dr's but I wouldn't trust them.

We have three cats, since we live in the country they stay outside as I'm allergic to indoor cats.

Rebecca, I have been to Baltimore twice the last time was in 2001 DH and ended up downtown in the ghetto by mistake. We loved it but like Charlotte it's nice to visit but we love the country.

Mom to 4 beautiful kids! 3 on Earth and 1 in heaven. Our little girl, Matilda Hope had Down Syndrome. She was born with TMD, a disease that is like leukemia. She fought that and beat it. Then, she had liver failure. She beat that, too. On October 17, 2014 she had NEC, necrotizing enterocolitis. My baby went to Heaven on October 19, 2014. She lived exactly one month.
