Ok so can I do just one test and it come back ok!!!

So most of you know I had to retake my GD test again. I took it the first time and got a 191 on the 1-hr. So I had to take the 3-hr. I took the 3-hr and failed the 1-hr portion but passed everything else. Well all this was at 24 weeks. So OB wanted me to retest at 28 weeks. So I did. And I tried to even cheat a little and eat a protein bar right before so that the sugars would fight with the protein...usually protein wins.

Now to this test......I took the 1-hr. Failed! Failed by 245. OMG?!?! Seriously?!?! So now I get to go straight pass the 3-hr and right to the GD counselor. YAY!! Not. Ok not as depressed as I thought I would be....really won't change much except my soda intake...

But this is what I find strange...my hemoglobin dropped!!! That is iron. So ***? I am taking iron pills and have increased my iron intake...so why did it drop?!?!

Why do I have to be so *** backwards!

Thank you Claire1979!

I'm sorry, I'm a type 2 diabetic, I know how sucky it can be. My blood sugar was in the 250-300 range when I was diagnosed, and it was under control in less than two weeks. I'm really confident you will get this straightened out soon.

Thank you Vicki for my awesome siggy!!
