IDK where to post this, but my best friend has scoliosis and I was wondering how the epidural/spinal thing works when you have scoliosis. She wants to know if there is a way she can get general anesthesia?

At 16 the curve was 30 degrees, but hasn't been measured since and she is 27. Any advice? thanks!

ps: she is 23 weeks prego

I have mild scoliosis, and got an epidural with both of my births. I have no clue to what degree my spine is curved, just was told it is "mild".
