I know I have started getting them. I haven't called my doctor about it because first of all I don't think there is anything they can do at thirteen weeks and second of all they are very intermitent. I am sure that is what it is because it only lasts for maybe 20 seconds, it hurts enough for me to need to sit down sometimes and it feels like a cx. But usually if I go drink water it goes away. I am so dang paranoid and worried this pregnancy. Every little thing is stressing me out.

that is how early I started this time around and with my son. They will tell you that unless you have 5 to 6 in an hour they are not concerned. Drink plenty of water and lay on your left side if you notice them to often.

Normally I think women get them at the end of the second or begining of the third and only a few a day.. but I could be wrong. If you are very cocerned .. please call the dr's hon.

Also, since you have had a pregnancy with problems before, maybe they should do cervical checks on you starting at around 15 weeks.

Good luck

I am on my 5th baby and have started having BH as well. My dr said that I would probably have them sooner b/c of how many children I have. But as long as I didn't have more than 5 an hour and they were short I didn't have to worry just drink plenty of fluids and lay on my left side. I've only had a few they weren't very painful and only lasted about 15 seconds. hope it helps
