When my labor slowed down my midwife gave me a pretty nasty but effective smoothie.

It contained castor oil, apricot juice, almond butter, and champagne. I think equal parts of each and blended together. It was the most disgusting thing in the world, but within 15 or so minutes my contractions got very strong and more consistent.

My husband told a friend about it whose wife was stuck at a few cm for quite a while and the Dr's were talking c-section. She drank it and had her baby in a few hours.

That's all I got :/
