Ack! That's not what I want to hear haha. Thank you for sharing though! It's so interesting how one pregnancy is different from another. Nothing is predictable!

I would say easier...only because it was shorter LOL...and then my third was shortest yet from the previous 2 LOL.....pain wise my second was the worst because of back labor...but it was bearable cause it was so short I was only in hard labor with my first for about 5 hours, my second 4 hours and Helena was about 3 hours LOL (I only count labor as starting from the first contraction that actually hurt LOL)

Mine is a little tricky because I was induced with #1 when my water broke. From water breaking to birth, it was about 14 hours, the worst was hours 8 to 10, and then I got an epidural.#2, I had prodromal labor nightly for weeks and started real labor at 5cm with a bulging bag of waters. I think the prodromal labor was totally worth it. A little over 4 hours from first contraction to birth. By far my favorite birth. The worst was probably the last half hour when I hit transition and started freaking out and wishing I was in the hospital with an epidural.
#3 was posterior, 3 full days of contractions every 11 minutes. They changed to every 7 minutes on the 4th morning. He was born at 4:30 that afternoon. The worst was the last two hours, I handled labor and my two kids up until that point, then had dh come home.
#4 my water broke and labor didn't start for 20 hours. From first contraction to delivery was just a little over 4 hours. It wasn't as bad as #1 and #3, but it wasn't as easy as #2. I really lost my cool the last hour.
#5 was hard. My water broke and contractions started half an hour later. Everything was manageable for the first 10 hours, but she was posterior and trying to rotate herself inside and that was NOT at all comfortable. I spent about 2+ hours mentally fighting what was going on and totally losing it, and then I started pushing and it was so much better. Her labor was 13 hours.

I'd really LOVE a repeat of #2's labor.

I'm not sure it was easier but the 2nd was definitely faster!! I appreciated it being over quickly but the pain was so intense with contractions overlapping. I want to be that women who only has contractions 5 mins apart and pushes twice and the baby slides out.

1st labour was long (19hrs) with slow, painful progression including 2.5 hrs of pushing. 2nd labour was 10hrs, and super easy over. Also had him out with two easy pushes. 3rd was also 10hrs but semi-slow progression. Painfu, but as as bad as my 1st. My first child and second are 15 months apart. My body said, Yeah, been there done that". My second and third are 3 years apart.

Another blue bundle - MERRICK DEAN due March 28, 2016
