Okay, I posted this in my DDC, but I figured that you ladies would know better...

Tomorrow I'm getting cervigel inserted up near my cervix. I want to know whether you think my hubby should come with me or if I'll be okay to drive home and wait a bit while he is at work. He doesn't get much time off, so I don't want to make him take a day off before the baby comes.
Here comes Lily...

I thought they made you stay at the hospital when you get that. But I've never had it so I'm not sure. Good luck.

I had that when I was being induced...I also thought they made you stay, I would check because sometimes it can cause labor.

Most drs do make you stay, but ive known a handful who will let you go home and return at a later time - either a set time (usually 12 hours later ) or when contractions start.

Theres no set answer - I would recommend having someone go with you simply b/c some women (very few) have cx's start right away, and with others it doesnt do a thing.

Is it cervadil or a prostglandin gel that theyre applying?
