I don't have anything around mine. Thankfully, I haven't had a problem with any critters getting in to my backyard. Well, with the exception of the chicken that managed to fly into my backyard last summer. It loved eating my tomatoes.

I don't have anything and I haven't had any trouble. I live in the middle of town though, and so other than the occasional stray cat or dog, we don't have many critters.

Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my new siggy!

We do not have any type of fence around our garden and luckily we have not had any critters get into it. We live in the country and we have many visitors through out the night but they stay up near the house, where they can eat the cat food lol. Our garden is 500 feet from the house so must be they just don't wander down there.
We were even surprised all the corn we planted came up...we thought for sure the deer or coons would eat that.

We don't really have a fence around it but most of it is in my fenced yard. We have had a few raccoons enjoy my tomatoes.

We have a chicken wire thing that surrounds the perimeter of our garden. It's mostly to prevent the dogs from running over our plants
