Does anybody here grow them? We have two young shrubs. They take a couple of years before they start producing so we are patiently waiting. They are pretty easy to care for, so much so that they even grow in the wild.

They are also really good for you for, known to have the best amounts of antioxidants out there. Whenever I feel a cold coming on in fact I always go out and buy some and chow down.

I'm really liking the idea of berries in general. Wild raspberries grow not far from here so we are thinking of adding those next.

We are planning on starting next year. My son LOVES blueberries and it was his one and only request for the garden next year. lol I didn't realize that it takes a couple of years for them to produce though. Poor Will is going to be so disappointed!

Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my new siggy!

I've also read that the biggest issue with them is keeping the birds off them, just an FYI. We have two dogs that like to bark at birds so I'm hoping that helps keep them away.

I like berries, but I've never liked blueberries for some reason. Not even the girls!

My girls LOVE blueberries. We found THE biggest, sweetest berries in a little market in Wolfeboro. Holy YUM, they were just like candy! The blueberries I've bought at walmort are so bitter. I think it might be the difference between buch berries and groundcover berries.
