Hi my DD is almost 5 and she is FTT. She has Delayed gastric Emptying, Acid Reflux,Bile Reflux, and FPIES. We are trying to get her to gain weight we have duocal that is being deliver today. She is to take 50 grams daily and she drinks Neocate one + she does not really eat she is on baby food because of her Delayed gastric emptying and we need to rule out fpies reactions with the baby food first so we know what she has intolerances to. She has passed on Applesauce, Apple blueberries, and Pears. We are hoping to get her to tolerate more but for now she is just drinking Neocate. Her weight is holding steady right now at 35 lbs and that is down from 37 a month ago. I am trying to avoid getting a ng tube put in and we are hoping to get her to start eating oraly. She is to drink 30 to 40 oz daily of neocate and we get to about 20 and she quits on us. any advice???? I should say she has failed to Rice oats barley bananas turkey chicken wheat eggs milk soy thank you.

Can she have potatoes? Has that been tried? If so there is a butter that she should be able to have...actually one of two...the earth balance brand and blue bonnet light. Feishman's unsalted margerine is really good too. If you add salt to the food it still tastes good. I don't know if that helps because were are kinda in the same boat but not as many diagnosis yet...mostly unanswered problems but good luck!!!
