What was the situation and how did you learn that your child has FTT??

They were born early, 6.5W and only weighted 4lbs5oz and 4lbs13oz. When we left the hospital at 11 days Elaina had gained back to her birth weight but Skyla was only 4lbs8oz. They gained slowly, and it was due mainly to their low birthweight and slow weight gain that they were labled FTT. The Drs even tried telling me I HAD to feed them NeoSure along with the breastmilk, mixing it half and half (I never cracked open a formula bottle or can except when trying to establish my supply, due to me pumping) I so wish I had been able to get them to latch on and keep BFing.
As of now, they are 16 almost 17m and they still have FTT on their current records, mainly due to being under the 20 percentile on the growth charts.

Nathan was given it when he was in the hospital getting his GERD and heart conditions looked at.

I think it is because also, he is in the lower percentile, I know that is why Ella is watched! She is in the 10% percentile for her age, but she is also short! But she looks great!
