Hi everyone... I used to be very active on JM...but life got crazy...anyway I am now due with my 2nd, so I am back and more active. I did stop by this board a couple of times, so figured I would re introduce myself and my son...

I am Heather, my son was born Sept 2005 and has been diagnosed FTT at 12 months... We just had a weight check this past Monday and he was 19 lbs, 12 1/2 oz... He is a very picky eater, which drives me crazy...But besides the growing issues, he is a very active normal little boy...

So far we have seen a cardiologist, everything was negative, a GI specialist, all test were negative...and we have an appointment next month with a Endocrinologist to see if it is anything with his hormones...

The only things they have found so far is he has low iron, easily helped with Iron Supplements...and they did a bone age of his hand at 15 months, which his bone age was showing 10 months...

Well hope to get to know you ladies more

Glad all those scary tests you have done so far were negative, though it would be nice to get some answers, I'm sure. It's so hard when they won't eat.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Keep us updated!

Hi! Welcome to the group. I'm Renee...my younger dd Paige is FTT. She's 16 months and weights 15lbs 13oz. We too have gone through TONS of testing. It is definitely a relief that they come back negative but at the same time it would be nice to know what the prob is.

Thanks for the welcome! It is a relief when there is nothing wrong and I am hoping he is just small and will start eating better...but it is a struggle to get him to eat especially dinner....
