hey all im amber some may know me from other groups but for those who dont im 26yrs old married and have 4 children drake who is 5 faith who is 4 brandon who just turned 3yrs and cayden who is 21mths. cayden is the reason im here. when he was 6mths old he was diagnosed with FTT cause he only weighed 13lbs and the dr felt he was skinny. he ate 5-6oz but he was a very slow eater. he does have health issuses such as hyper active airways, seziure disorder which i dont understand cause he only had 3 seziures when he was 3 mths plus he was also diagnosed with having a gentic problem called 32q9 which means he has 3 chromosomes instead of 2 and that could be a reason for his FTT. he is now 21mths old and weighs 23lbs. now is that a good weight? the dr still seems concerned but i dunno. he was 7lbs 1oz at birth

Sorry to hear about Cayden's troubles. I looked up his weights on one of the growth charts I really like (http://www.mybirthcare.com/favorites...rowthchart.asp) and it looks like he is back on the charts, which is very good news! He has done a good job catching up since his FTT diagnosis.

Sounds like a good weight to me! My son, Brandon, is 20 mo and weighs just over 22lbs and he's in the 5% and is no longer considered FTT. Hope he keeps it up!!!

Welcome! I'm not really sure about the weight...doesn't sound too bad to me since Paige is 16 months and only 15lbs 13oz.
