I went to see my midwife today... They did another sonogram. She diagnoised me with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) . There are multiple lil cysts on my ovaries. She said thats why I'm having pelvic pain because of PCOS. She checked my body for after the surgery and said I'm ready TTC again.. so I can TTC again...

But if you dont know what PCOS is let me give you a brief description, I could have a hard time getting pregnant, I was born with this, and my symptoms didn't occur till July '04. My midwife told me that all my sonograms that I've had done showed me having multiple cysts on both ovaries, she asked me if I knew that and I said No I didn't...

She gave me a pill that will help my PCOS, she said it would also help me ovulate..

She also gave me wellbutrin to help quit smoking..

She told me I wouldn't have a hard time getting pregnant, and I don't know much about PCOS, but I know of a lot who do have PCOS and they had a hard time getting pregnant...

I did get pregnant though....

Anyways thats what my midwife said.. I don't go back Tuesday, since I went today...

I'm so glad you got some answers. I know some women who have trouble getting pg with PCOS. However, I know of many who have had successful pregnancies. The fact that you did get pg is a great sign.

So I guess we know what you'll be doing for the next week! lol
