Hi Ladies, How is everyone? I'm doing okay, but need some advice. As most of you know since miscarriage my hormones have been a bit crazy. I miscarried end of october and did not get my first period till 12/7/12. I had some weird pregnancy symptoms near end of november ( Fatigue, breast soreness, nausea, and smell sensitivity). I took a couple hpts and all come out negative. The symptoms persisted so i went to docs and did a blood test which came back negative and my period started shortly after.
My period is once again late and nowhere in sight! I took an hpt 2 days ago and came out negative. I did not suspect them to be positive as i have not had many symptoms other than missed period. Although i did have a bad uti that was causing me to be fatigued. I just figured maybe my hormones are jacked again or cycle is off. Yesterday, I began getting dizzy and nausea. I didn't think much of it as I figured it was just a bug or maybe eating something off. Well today I woke up the same way, and noticed my breasts are getting sensitive and tender. I don't want to read too much into it, as it may be coincidental timing ( maybe my periods coming soon) but strange thing is my stomach doesn't hurt, and am not running a fever or anything. My husband on the other hand is whole heartily convinced I'm pregnant. He says I don't need the test I'm pretty confident thats what it is . lol I'm so glad he can be that confident !
Did anyone get the pregnancy symptoms come on this suddenly and not have it show on test? I'm going to wait it out a few days and see if the breast tenderness, nausea, and dizziness continues or if my period shows up, than buy another test. Just wanted to get your gals opinion of the situation. I'm trying not to get my hopes up just in case. What would you guys do in this situation?

I'm so sorry for your loss

I know it takes a long time for women's body's to get back to normal... I was getting +hpt 5 weeks after my loss and I wasn't pregnant. And I had all the symptoms. If I was in your situation, I'd probably try to get a beta done. If you are pregnant, it may just be too early for it to show up yet, in which case you may just have to keep testing every couple days.

Hope you get an answer from your body soon. Being in limbo is the worst.

I cannot respond quite yet as I am awaiting to start a period after a D&C but I can say that a few times a year I would have a really heavy period. Those were always associated with breast tenderness, stomach issues etc. I always chalked it up to hormonal fluctutations. I hope you are preggo but if not it sounds like your body is just trying to regulate itself. KUP!

I would get some betas done. I swear I had symptoms with DS before a test and my periods were always whacked out like that. You could always wait it out and just treat yourself as you are pregnant (no drinking, smoking, ibuprofen etc) and if in a few weeks there is no AF, take a test. Would def be positive by then!

I took another HPT today because symptoms are still persisting and my hubby keeps saying I'm pregnant ( I swear there is no question in his mind)lol. It came out negative and he said "oh..thats just because it's too early, you probably are only 2-3 weeks pregnant." It's quite interesting from a guy whos more on the ntnp rather than trying to conceive side. I'm going to wait another 3-4 days test again, and if its still not positive , call docs to get beta done.
Its kind of strange because i feel like a part of me thinks the docs are going to think I'm CrAzY! lol I went in end of november with pregnancy like symptoms and multiple negative test, they did a blood test, and urine both negative. I'm kinda wondering if this is going to be symptoms i have to deal with regularly now. The only thing that is different this time is nausea, and definite breast tenderness (same level as when i was pg). So I guess only time will tell. But if my hubby is right..down to timing, I'll never hear the end of that one : ) He'll be telling the future kiddo..I knew before mom knew lol I will keep you all updated. Hopefully I will have good news to share soon!

UPDATE - AF showed up on 1/15. So seems like my period symptoms have changed : (
