The nurse just called, she talked to my Dr. he said I could come in 1 week from today but he wanted to be sure that I knew they might not be able to see anything yet. I will be out of town 2 weeks from today so made an appt for 11/7 at 4 p.m. - I'll be just 1 day away from being 7 weeks. I would love to go in for an earlier ultrasound but I think I may be more freaked out if they can't see anything yet. It's probably best for me to go in later.

As far as the spotting he said this could have just been implantation bleeding. Looking back at my calendar it started at 2 weeks 6 (8 DPO) days and ended at 4 weeks (just about 1 week). Seems a little long to be implantation bleeding but what do I know.

If I wouldn't have taken a test early and just waited until I missed my period I might not be so freaked out right now. I can't take it back though so I'll just cross my fingers the spotting stays away and I don't have any other issues.

I think that's a good idea Cort...It is really stressful to have an early scan and for it to be questionable. 7 weeks is a good time! I'm glad the bleeding has stopped! That has to make you feel better! I will be on the look out for your updates!

I agree - 7 weeks is a good time to go I know it is so hard to wait But going too early can be so stressful. I am so glad the bleeding stopped. I am still sending sticky vibes your way!!

7 weeks is a great time! I remember when I went in, they said that's a good time to really date and see how things are progressing. Since my periods are so off and weird, they did ultrasounds on me WAY too early (we didn't know when, I didn't temp), and that week or 10 days or so with multiple ultrasounds seeing nothing was horrific. 7 weeks is a GOOD thing!! I don't ever want to go through that again and don't wish it on anyone

I think 7 weeks is a great time for an ultrasound. I hope the spotting stays away and when you have an ultrasound you see that tiny little one's heart beating away
