I have zero experience with flying while pregnant, and I couldn't find much on the topic online, at least for early pregnancy. What is your opinion? Is it safe to fly before the second trimester?

I think you should be fine. During my first pregnancy I almost had to fly last minute and called and asked about it and was told as long as you aren't too close to due date you should be ok. To be on the safe side I would call and ask. every situation is different

Early is fine... they usually just don't want you flying close to your due date.

I would call just to check in but it should be fine. For me with all my first trimester issues I wont be traveling just because I have weekly check ups with my doctor in the first trimester and a lot of blood draws. But I don't think there is any issue with the flying part.
