Today would be day 27 after my miscarriage began. I was surprised and pleased to see AF show up this morning, or so I thought! Nothing since this morning, so maybe it's not AF? Why's it being so darned slow? Anyone else have a stubborn first period after a loss?

Actually I guess it's day 28? Do you count the first day of your period (or in this case miscarriage) in a cycle or do you measure X days after that? That's always confused me...

Yes. It was cd35 for my first AF after the back to back m/c's. It freaked me out. This is my 2nd cycle and I didn't get a pos opk until cd 20 so I assume if I get a period it will be around cd34 or cd35. I think it's pretty normal for your cycle to be wonky. Oh I counted the first day I started bleeding as cd1 for both m/c's.

Everyone is different on how they heal after mc.
AF might just be trying to get back on track. I hope you get back to normal soon.
I agree, cd 1 would be the first day of bleeding.

My first period after my loss wasn't until about CD35 and it was pretty light. I was shocked because I kind of expected it to be heavier than I had experienced in the past. The past couple cycles, my periods have done the show and no show and then show again thing that you're talking about as well. Within a day or two, I bet she returns and will be a bit heavier!

Thank you, and oh my gosh I take it all back because it's here this morning with a vengeance. Hoping these awful cramps don't last long! Oh well, it's all for the cause. But ouch!

AF has been weird since my D&C in August. At first, it was really light and almost non-existent. Last month, it was really heavy. This month, it's been back to being light. I'm so sorry that you are hurting. I hope that you feel better soon.

My last AF was horrible with cramps. I actually got worried for a bit but then it started getting better. I used a heating pad for 2 nights because they were so horrible. Praying that yours ease up soon!!!!

Thank you, been eating the Advil today, it's so bad it's making my knees ache! Plus I'm having a lupus flare so my hair is all falling out everywhere and I feel like an achy zombie. However, having an awesome Christmas break with hubby and kids so not too much complaining!

Katie that's awesome!!
