Well.. I have my 6 week check up tomorrow with my midwife. What can I expect? Its been awhile since I've had one and its different circumstances. Are there any questions that I may not think to ask that you ladies can help me with?

It will probably be like a normal 6 week PP visit. If you had any testing done after the birth, you will most likely be able to discuss the results. We got all of our results back at our PP visit, unfortunately they did not reveal any more information for us. We also talked about our plans to TTCAL and how they would/wouldn't treat me differently with my next pregnancy. The only difference I had was that they were more willing to ease my fears and calm my anxieties with extra testing/appointments/ect...

Good Luck at your appointment. I hope all goes well.

Hey Ashley, I had a ton of questions about care and standards and how all of this happened so I asked a ton about that. I was there roughly 3 hours or so and the lead midwife was good with me. Some of it was also recounting the story. It got so hazy for me, I had my doula and midwife both go over details so I would have it for her birth story, and we also went over things I wish they did different or what they need to know when it comes to stillbirth parents. Mainly for future reference for them on that last part.

I also essentially broke up with them and said it would be too hard to do another pregnancy with them or delivery
