What was the first (or most recent) thing that made you lose your 'cool' and freak out as a mommy or mommy to be?

My first real freak out was discovering we were having twins most recent would be going overboard when they get a little sick.. Elias was on oxygen for his first few months so anytime he gets so much as a cold, I panic and break out his albuterol. Also, every time Griffin gets a cold, he develops a wheeze, so I am concerned one or both of them may develop asthma.

When Phoenix was just a few days old, they dr. wanted me to give him vitamin supplements, and he choked on it! I threw the bottle away and never gave him another drop of that stuff...Mommie's milk was good enough!

Then when he was 4 he fell off our front porch with our wrought iron chair in tow. Bruised up his ankle really good. Had to take him to the E.R. to make sure there wasn't a fracture!

Really early on, I nearly dropped DS while trying to arrange him and the supportive pillows for breastfeeding. Everything is so awkward at first, and of course I was very tired and sore... but that made me realize how tired and "new" at this I really was, so I slowed it down and did everything more carefully.
