As your baby is/was learning how to sit, stand, etc - did they have a favorite position to be in?

Eric MUST be sitting these days. He doesn't want to stand and bounce for long, and he certainly doesn't want to be lying down, back or front. I think he likes the new perspective! If he topples he screams until we right him, then he goes back to smiling and playing as if nothing happened...

When Carson was learning to sit...that's all he wanted to do too. If we had him laying on his back (he hated his stomach), we was constantly trying to sit up...he worked on those abs alot while doing it

Jackson loves to sit or stand. If he isn't sitting completely upright he tries to pull himself up... it's so funny.

Troy doesn't sit still, so that is hard to say! Unless he's eating, sleeping or in the car, I don't think he stops moving for more than 10 sec at a time

As your baby is/was learning how to sit, stand, etc - did they have a favorite position to be in? Oddly enough, Connor used to hate sitting. No exaggeration! He was nearly 9 months old before he finally did it on his own. Up until then, he'd do everything he could to avoid it. If we tried to put him a sitting position, he'd lock his legs out straight and push them towards the floor so he could stand instead (with help, of course). If we tried to push the issue, he'd fuss and scream. He was soooo not interested. Then one day he just did it, totally out of the blue.
